This site is a tribute to Miles Law. Much loved by family and friends, she made a lasting positive impression on anyone she met. She will always be cherished and remembered.
Through both bouts of lymphoma, in 2012 and 2017, Miles' irrepressible spirit and way of dealing with adversity were a constant source of pride and amazement.
Her approach to life made difficult times less difficult, fun was at the centre of everything and her generosity and thought for others never wavered.
Two charities were particularly significant to Miles; as she gave us all so much it would only be fitting to raise as much as we can to help them continue their amazing work.
Miles had a kidney transplant in 2007. Here is what she said after 10 years; it sums up everything that meant to her and her closing words are an inspiration:
"I am eternally thankful to my donor for her gift (and her family for respecting her wish to donate). I hope that her family have taken comfort in the number of lives their loved one has saved. Without her, I would not have been able to do so many amazing things so easily - building a career, holidaying across the world, headbanging at countless gigs, and generally making wonderful memories outside of a hospital.
Life is not a rehearsal - it can be more difficult than you think you can deal with but it can also bring joy you can't even imagine.
Embrace positivity, embrace those you love, embrace life."
